  1. The Whitman quote is one of my favorites. I keep it handy for those times when my kids catch me in an act of hypocrisy. Throw a little Whitman their way, I can wriggle out of anything.

  2. I like the Chuang Tzu quote. It’s not just the “I want you to listen recklessly,” it’s the “I’m going to try speaking some reckless words…” That must be my goal in writing/painting/composing from now on.
