Oh noes I looked my eyes my eyes not to mention the utter degradation of my soul what were you thinking you monster?
I am just loveable, furry old Grover. Except when I am Super Grover. Or when I’m waiting tables. Then I’m not quite so adorable. Especially if you’re a little bald blue man with a moustache who just wants his soup.
Say, why isn’t our crest prominently displayed on the main page? What gives?
I have to work on the crest. It means going in and messing with the CSS. I don’t have time for that at the moment.
Turff, Seriously, take a look at my question. It’s #43 in Comments for Lacunagroup: http://www.lacunagroup.org/blog/?p=135#comments.
marc, read it, will check. Don’t know this one myself… left the EE school after a run in with a sadistic prof that skipped numerous steps in his explanations and replaced them with the phrase, “It is intuitively obvious that…” But I know folks that persevered. I’ll be back.
Turff, I don’t think you have to worry about the EE aspects. It’s all digital signal processing, things like if x<1 then this or otherwise that, etc. Just logic circuits for processing numerical info. I’m pretending to use this language, realize. No idea if I’m saying things that make sense.
I don’t know anything about DSP, which is a pretty in-depth EE field. F-Transforms I’ve heard of but not done. Boolean algebra I can get around myself pretty well. IOW, depending on the scope of your problem (and how key a role FT play in it) I >may< be able to help. Perhaps an email on the subject, with screenshots if necessary?
Let me keep exploring the software a bit and then ask more specific questions. Thanks.
Question for everyone. Is there a more efficient way to keep track of unread recent post comments. My Safari RSS feed does not seem very helpful. I feel like I’m missing stuff unless I actually revisit each post. Not that each post, like a great piece of music, doesn’t improve and enrich itself with each visit. Of course they all do…
There’s the “Recent Comments” list in the sidebar. I can fiddle with the CSS so that it can indicate ones you have already visited.
There is a “Comments RSS” link available to the right on the main page. Subscribe to it to see comments listed in your blog reader.
Is there some way we can set the blog up so that comments have comments? Comments about comments have comments?
No.
