Gauntlet

Go see this.

Then tell me if you are in or not. We’ll start on 1 September. Comments here will suffice for announcing your subject matter, which you must do before August expires.

11 Thoughts on “Gauntlet

  1. Awfly chipper, wasn’t he?

    I’m thinking it’s going to be difficult to think of something that I’ve always wanted to do that I have not already tried. Perhaps I should go look at my Annual Goals. (Yes, that was a hint.)

  2. I’m leaning towards a photo a day. Also considered “a work of art” a day. If I wanted to punish myself it would be “writing something a day”. I’ll commit before the deadline…

    Dale, you should do a sculpture a day.

  3. I would love to do this, but I absolutely can’t in September. I have a huge looming deadline on a major-ass project for the NPS. But maybe October? By then I might be DYING to try something new.

  4. Haiku a day was very enjoyable.
    Recently implemented a plan to dig up at least one unwelcome privet shrub a day. Did it during the hottest week of the summer, so it counted as a month. Perspiration immediate, total and quite cleansing.

  5. I dare someone to try meeting a new person every day for a month…

    Sending a friend invitation on Facebook doesn’t count.

  6. Remember, “writing something everyday” is also known as “a blog.”

  7. I concur that when marc writes a haiku a day it is very enjoyable.

    Re: blog -> touche’

  8. I ought to do the meeting a new person every day thing, which would be ridiculously easy at the DOE.

  9. Meeting a new person every day = being a journalist.

  10. ANOTHER reason I am not a journalist…an addenda to our previous conversation.

  11. I, too, am doing well to complete a poem a week. I don’t know what I could do daily. 🙁
