   I’ve always been fascinated by alternative belief systems. Do we want to go there? Or was that just a reality check? The bracing slap of conventional wisdom? A line drawn on the playground?

   Is this a challenge to be as diverting as the endless stream of web revelations you point us toward? Are you bored?

   I think we may be on the edge, or at least I am. Let’s say I have one foot planted on each side of the line drawn in the playground.
