7 Thoughts on “Political Trivia

  1. Ooo! Ooo! Herbert Hoover (1929-1933).

[Smarty-Pants Moment] I knew this without help. When I did Academic Bowl back in the day, the presidents was one of the areas I was responsible for knowing.

  2. Very good. You get the Nixon/Bush Medal of Academic Excellence or in other words you are smarter than a fifth grader.

I read this question and had to stop and figure it out. I was a history major and know the Presidents pretty well. It was still a shocking answer to me.

  3. As long as we’re doing politics, is there any Lichtenbergian who could apply for a job in the new administration after safely answering the 83 questions?

  4. What are “the” 83 questions?

  5. Sorry, should have linked it. Here’s the link.

  6. Hmmm, me thinks this Society had best plan to stay out of this administration. I guess they want to begin with a squeaky clean slate, but are there enough talented people out there to fill the positions that would pass their inquisition? Risk takers usually do attract some negative attention.

  7. I’m thinking there are some of us who couldn’t get a job in a Cynthia McKinney administration.
