O Lamb of God, I come, I come.This was sung in that small Congregationalist church in rural Pennsylvania on that memorable morning a little over a hundred years ago when this issue was settled. Any and all may undertake SHA. It is not an aesthetic indulgence for cliques and coteries, but a “simple human pursuit.”

All and all HANDS may undertake, and as marc so elegantly pointed out, it is a SIMPLE HUMAN pursuit, unfettered by adornments, distractions, and accouterments. Indeed, terry, all are welcome. It is the symmetry of the arrangement that we strive for, not the symmettry of the hands.

This is exactly the break from SHA preconception that I am striving for. Fear not the conventional! Shatter assumptions! Huzzah, Terry!

Ah, how could I have not remembered to include Gordon Palm in those breaking from SHA preconception?
Thanks to all for your wonderful words of wisdom: “a simple human pursuit”. It will make many in my position feel human again.
