This morning I came across OverThinkingIt.com: Movies, TV, Music, Video, Humor and Popular Culture… Taken Way Too Seriously, and it appeals.
Two posts that you will immediately like:
- The Nazgul = Epic Fail, in which the movie”s Witch King is compared unfavorably to a labradoodle
- Fixing Pan”s Labyrinth, which casino pa natet has a very interesting take on Campbell”s monomyth: it”s a boy”s quest, and that is distinct from a girl”s quest.

Just read the Nazgul entry. Very well done. And as the first commenter pointed out, Tolkien may have done a little better job on the “fear inspiring” front with these guys in the books.
